Department of Orthopaedics, Traumatology and Joint Replacement Surgery
The Orthopedic team works in combination with the Surgical team in providing basic and advanced care for trauma patients. Apart from this, the Orthopedics Department comes to its own both basic Orthopedic procedures. Our services have recently expanded to include Joint Replacement services over the past three years. The Orthopedic team works in specialized Operating room with state-of-the-art aseptic techniques and specialized ICU’s for post-operative cases. In addition, the department also provides specialized care for a variety of diseases such as Osteoarthritis, rheumatism, osteoporosis, tendonitis and sports injuries. The major procedures include:
- Arthroscopy for all joints
- Illizarov Fixation for accident and trauma patients
- Interlocking – Nailing technique to hold splinters together
- LCP or locking compression plate for more stability for broken bones
- Total face reconstruction surgery
- Total Hip reconstruction surgery
- ACL or Anterior Cruciate Ligament sprain or tear correction for stable knees

10 A.M to 1 P.M & 5 P.M to 7 P.M on Monday to Friday.
11 A.M to 3 P.M on Saturday.
Tuesday & Friday are theatre days.
